Just as a man or a woman may very different depending on the hairstyle, or the clothes he or she puts on, same thing is also true with natural stone. Different finishes and textures... and the stone looks totally different. This photoreport provides some examples.

INTRODUCTION

Benches are to be found just about everywhere. In the parks, on the pavements, in the shopping malls, in the bus stations, metros. People are always looking for them, for they are meant for the tired person who just wants to sit down somewhere for a few moments to relax before moving on.

Almost uniquely in the world of hard surfaces, the Cosentino Group from Spain has manufacturing facilities in three main categories- natural stone (a granite processing factory in Brazil), and also in quartz and porcelain, with the factories being in Cantoria (Almería).

Following the first presentation of the study on Sustainability conducted by KIVI, the Finnish Stone Association, a second presentation was made on 25 June 2020 in which this time the focus was on comparing the carbon footprint of natural stone with other materials.
