The “Nights and Days” Palace has been awarded the “Best stone work in architecture” award, 2019, organized by the Polish magazine Swiat Kamienia.

This is the first article of a new section where people from the natural stone industry in various activities in different countries give their opinions on how their business is doing. This one focuses on Poland.

Of the hundreds, indeed, thousands, of different varieties of natural stone that are being extracted, processed and commercialised in the world, there  are actually very few materials that have carved out their own brand name and are easily recognisable and whose name is familiar even to those who do not strictly work in the natural stone industry. That material is called Marmol Crema Marfil®.

The 2019 edition of the Marmomac fair in Verona, from 25 to 28 September,  was held against a backdrop of not only an environment of deep unease at the growing market share of artificial stone at the expense if natural stone, but also clear signs of a global economic slowdown underway.
