I Hungarian Stone Association Award

 

The Hungarian Stone Association organized an award for architects for using natural stone in their projects. This award was given for the first time on 2011. The first prize went to the winery project in Fülek (close to the famous wine-growing region Tokaj). The architects were Mr. Zsolt Felix Dla and Tamás Fialovszky.
 
 
 
 
 
Members of the jury were Mr. Zoltán Bene, president of the Hungarian Stone Association, Mr. G. Kelecsényi, Director of a member-company of the Hungarian Stone Association, Mr. Tamás Noll, President of the Hungarian Chamber of Architects, Csaba CSontos architect, Dr. Pal Baross, delegated by the association for sustainable architecture (Hungary Green Building Council).
 
The awards ceremony took place on 4th of April 2011 as a closing event of the two-day architecture’s development training course, a new event organized by the Hungarian Stone Association in collaboration with the Hungarian Chamber of Architects, Hungary Green Building Council and Marmomacc, Veronafiere.
