The Association of the Businessmen of Marble from Andalusia (AEMA) celebrated the prize awarding ceremony of the Macael Awards, in its XX1V edition. Below we present a photo report of the winners in the different categories.
It is the third biggest mosque in the world, with the capacity for 30000 people. Its is named after the founder and President of the United Arab Emirates, who is buried here. About 220.000 square metres of stone was used in the whole project.
After almost 2 years of
rehabilitation work, the Medieval Market of Unicastillo, Zaragoza,
was inaugurated last 29 July as the headquarters of the UNCASTILLO
Foundation. From here the Foundation will develop all its cultural
program and patrimony management.
The world of natural stone is advancing at a frenetic pace, with so
many improvements in technology, that we have no time to think how we
have got to this point. We thought it would be interesting to remind
our readers how it used to be only a few centuries ago, take a look
back and do a memory of a past age not so long ago.
Last 19 November, the Provincial Association of Businessmen of
Marble of Macael awarded the prizes of Comarca of Macael in its XX
