COSENTINO GROUP will open 10 new installations in the UNITED STATES during 2012

The centers will be located in the cities of San Francisco, San Diego, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Kansas City, Denver and Portland, among others. These new installations are added to the 12 Cosentino Group Centers in operation in the United States and the 15 kitchen worktop and other custom-made products cut-size factories.

The objective of the multinational is to reach 22 "centers" operating at the end of this year, 2012, under a strong commitment to accelerate growth in this key market. According to Francisco Martinez-Cosentino, Chairman of Cosentino Group, this new facility "will allow to reach even more efficiently more customers, increase commercial capillary and deploy our business model with more strength, in the case of the United States, it not only reaches a growing number of stone masons and home centers, but also kitchen studios, designers and architects”.

In 2011, sales in the North American market amounted to 193 million euros, representing almost 50% of the total sales on a global level. This figure represents an increase of 8% compared to the 2010 figure which reached 179 million euros.

In the 17 countries where it operates with its own subsidiaries, Cosentino Group supports its distribution through these innovative comprehensive distribution and service platforms called centers. With a total client focus, the Cosentino Centers integrate different uses and functions, such as offices, distribution warehouse, training space, product and brand showroom, sales network and promotion network.  Today, the Spanish company has 60 of these "centers" operating around the world.

Cosentino Group® gathered its top 100 customers in the U.S. and Canada in Cancun, Mexico for the company’s annual “Cosentino 100” conference from January, 12th – January, 16th 2012. The annual conference was part of Cosentino Group’s consolidated effort to develop its expansion strategy for continued growth in the U.S. market. 210 people from 65 different independent companies participated and attended the event. 

Cosentino Group President Francisco Martínez-Cosentino and CEO of Cosentino North America Eduardo Martínez-Cosentino were in attendance at the conference to discuss the expansion efforts for the U.S. market which makes up more than half of the company’s annual sales.

“The Cosentino 100 conference has become an important annual event as it provides an opportunity to learn, share, and network with the leaders in our business,” stated Eduardo Martinez-Cosentino, President of Cosentino North America. “Cosentino Group has been able to significantly impact the kitchen and bath industry across North America over the years and this Conference plays a big part in communicating with industry experts. Our investment in our products and brand uniquely position us in the U.S. market and we are excited to continue to grow as a company in the U.S. in 2012.”

At the conference attendees reviewed the current state of the industry, business priorities and opportunities, and were provided with a sneak peak at six new Silestone colors and 10 new Cosentino Collection granites. The exhibit area also included Cosentino’s top vendors and partners in the industry sector such as Kohler, GranQuartz, Breton, Integra Adhesives, and ISFA among others.
